"IMPERIAL DECREE on the Russian chevalier orders." - is an almost exact copy of "Decree" of emperor Paul I which was issued at the end of the XVIII century. The book is reproduced on two kept books, one of which is keep in the Armory Museum of the Moscow Kremlin. Primary "Decree" consists of Paul's I appeal and thirty one articles in which it is specified who and for what merits can become the Chevalier of the Award, the Russian Awards of all degrees with figures of medal crosses, tapes, seals, attires of chevalier of the Award, the treasurer, the herald are described, court ceremonial and profit of chevaliers of the Russian award are portrayed. The description of the Russian awards which were not including in the initial text but founded till 1917 and unique photos of Russian Imperial awards are added to Paul's I "Decree". The book is issued under aegis of Defense Department of the Russian Federation from blessing of the patriarch of Russia Alexei II with support of the State Historical Museum and the Military - Memorial Centre of Joint Staff VS of the Russian Federation. The edition is prepared within the framework of the program of authentic reproduction of the rare Russian volumes. Each copy of the book is made manually.
